I went for a ride today and saw this great storm coming, had to finish the 15km back to car first then race home to get camera... so I did miss the most of it as it blew back out to sea....
These shots are from East Point. I have a few to post tomorrow taken on iPhone, once I can get them off the phone onto computer... But for now enjoy these...
For those of you I have taken to or know East Point, there are some rocks at the end people fish off... never really seen and waves here or in Darwin at all....
Was trying to get down on the rocks to take better pics.... Just as this shot was taken a massive wave hit the rock and came up over the rock I was on by about 4 meters....
So as I went F**k and moved to protect camera I got dumped on.... click camera went and the pic below is the result.... then as I stood up to get the hell out of the way of the next wave.....
AND again went F**k, phone and keys in back pocket.... so not only was I soaked head to toe, camera phone and keys WET!!!!! But with a laugh in my belly and a massive smile on my face I kept clicking away.....
