I love being the first foot prints on the beach in the morning..
Found a little cave.
A million shell beach.
I did have a little swim in a rock pool. I thought it would be safe from crocs as it was just big enough for me to sit in.
I walked as far as I could. No way was I crossing this....
I love a beach waterfall...
The tide on it's way out.
I was hoping this was just a passing cloud....
It was for about 3 hours then the rain came and made everything very muddy. Oh well.
So I took myself to Dundee Beach for Easter this year.
The sun was out and the beach was amazing, the water looked a bit scary.. Crocs and stingers... think I'll stick to the pool.
Big fishing weekend, this is the cue waiting to come back in. They have two tractors working to get boats in and out of the water.
It was like this all weekend.
The beach had heaps of black coral... so I made a tree...
I didn't make this but it's nice anyhow.
Like I don't get to see enough of these at work....
And the sunset was pretty special too.
wanted to go somewhere new today, so packed car and pointed it down the road and drove....
Ended up at East Point boat ramp, to start. Great view looking back over harbour.
Walk around the edge of car park, lots of people... well cars parked with empty boat trailers.
Few people fishing off the rocks and this massive box jelly fish.... I know it looks like a plastic bag.... but it is a real box jelly fish...
From East Point I headed out to Marlow Lagoon. Not the nicest place but got to add to my day of massive things....
Yep a few dinner plate size mushrooms...
Tried to get close to this hawk to get better pic, but scared him and he took off....
Only to circle me for a bit, so I managed to get some good pics...
Then this little one swooped out of the tree down to the water... magic pic I think...
From there took a road I was sure would go somewhere.. yep it did... all the way to Channel Island... Not much there apart from a dirty big old power plant, and some great places to take pics...
And another way to see Darwin City...
