Day 3

Day 3 in Adelaide on holidays...

Again not a very big ride today, 33km down to Glenelg and along the beach and back via the River Torrens... Not so much a river but a meandering stream... But a very nice place to ride. It also beats riding in the heat or Darwin any day! We did this ride yesterday but the other way, so it was nice to see the same stuff today but in the other direction and we also rode on the other side of the river to yesterday.

Today was very nice, started off at about 19deg and got up to 29deg. No need for a jacket or long pants... But seen I did not bring shorts with me I was in jeans...

After the ride there seemed to be a lot of sitting around... Which is driving me a little crackers but I guess I just have to get out of the all go all the time of working life and sit back and relax. A book I think is what I need....

But after the sitting around was... Op shopping and cake shopping and op shopping and then cake eating.... Found a nice little Greek shop and brought far too much... And ate far too much while playing games tonight.

We normally play a lot of take two (a game with the scrabble tiles) but I got Quidder for Christmas and have not opened it until this week, which was a bad move, I could have been much better by now if I had opened it and started to play! But it is fun to play and I am getting better at it.

Tomorrow we are off on a longer bike ride! Yes mum! We need to be doing more than 30km a day if we are going to eat like this all holidays.... So we are off to do the upper side of the Torrens and see where that takes us.

I still haven't worked out this still iPad and linking the photo's.... A job for tomorrow when I think there is too much sitting around and doing nothing....
